Fabric & Product Care tips

We strongly recommend that you follow these guidelines, as machine washing, tumble drying, dry cleaning, bleach and ironing will degrade the delicate silks and laces. Machine washing can also damage the wires, hooks and eyes.

• Hand wash only. It is best to use gentle soap flakes or hand washing liquid. Leave them to drip dry over your shower or bath. This will help to keep your purchases looking at their best for longest. Peacock & Strutt will not refund any machine washed products.
• Hang dry or dry flat
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not dry clean
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron, a good tip is to invest in a steamer. Because many of our products are made of silk, after washing they may look wrinkled. A quick spurt with the steamer should get them looking as good as new.
• We recommend that you always follow manufacturer's instructions if provided. Fabric content information for all items is shown on the product pages. However, this is intended as a guideline only, and can sometimes differ slightly from that stated in the garment label. Customers are therefore advised to check the manufacturer's label on receipt for confirmation of fabric composition.
• Be careful spraying perfume on any silk products as they can leave stains.

Swimwear

To ensure you get the optimum wear from your new swimsuit, please follow these care guidelines:

• Rinse out suntan oil, chlorine and saltwater directly after wearing.
• Hand wash in cold water with a very mild soap.
• Hang dry or dry flat
